What is compounding?
Compounding is process of preparing personalized medications according to your needs. Whether you have difficulty swallowing medications, your child needs a liquid formulation, or the medication you need is not commercially available, our pharmacy team is here for you!
The benefits of compounding:
Compounding fills gaps in therapy when you need a medication that is not commercially available. When a medication is on backorder, we can make it in-house for you to maintain continuity of care.
Areas of Speciality:
Medication
We accept any old, expired, and unused medications for disposal. Make sure you remove any self-identifying stickers and as much packaging as possible, then combine all your medications into one plastic bag for drop-off.
Sharps
If you use needles, lancet, or other sharp items, you will receive a certified biohazard needle disposal container free of charge. Once the container is full, return it to the pharmacy in exchange for a new one.
By dropping off your medications and sharps at Whole Health Pharmacy, you ensure they’re disposed properly and keep them out of the wrong hands, preventing abuse or accidental ingestion, needle stick injuries, and protecting our environment in the process.
My Whole Health Pharmacy group is an independently owned and operated pharmacy with convenient and easy to access locations in Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa, Welland, and North York.
